Founder's note
A counter of quiet luxury, brought home.
MGOLD'S began in a small studio in Maputo with a single oud and an obsession with longevity. Today, we hand-blend oil-based fragrances, skin and hair rituals from raw materials sourced across Africa and beyond.
We believe luxury is restraint. A bottle that lasts. A scent that lingers without shouting. A ritual that becomes part of you. Every formula we develop begins with a question: what does Mozambican elegance smell, feel, and look like on the world stage?
The answer is never obvious. It takes weeks of maceration, dozens of trials, and the courage to say no to anything that doesn't feel inevitable. We are building MGOLD'S slowly, on purpose — because the finest things always are.

Craft & Sourcing
From the continent, to the world.
Our oils come from Morocco, our shea from Ghana, our botanicals from Mozambican coastal gardens. We work with small-batch suppliers who share our obsession with purity and provenance.
Every product is free from alcohol, parabens and sulphates — not because it's fashionable, but because it's correct. Skin is a living organ. We treat it accordingly.
We keep our ranges small by design. A dozen perfections are worth more than a hundred compromises. When we add something new, we remove nothing that isn't ready to leave.
